Wildlife Tracking GPS

Include 16 Channel GPS receivers developed to work in “urban canyons” with limited view to the sky. GPS schedules from 1 loc every 4 seconds thru’ to 1 loc per day. Up to 250,000 locations can be stored and up t three years of data collected.
Three variants available – 500g, 650g and 800g suitable for any animal greater than 15kg. WildTraX® collars have been fitted to a wide range of animals including wild pigs, coyotes, kudu, lions, tigers, sheep and cattle.
Collars are powered by Energiser lithium AA batteries. Very low running costs from as little as $20 per collar. Field replaceable battery options managed by the client
GPS, RF Beacon and download schedule programmable by the client in the field. Beacon and download on 433MHz to enable fast download (>10locs/second) with highly directional nine element collapsible Yagi antenna. Software include in cost of collar interface
Carnivore and water resistant harness material. Expandable collars also available.
Temperature and activity sensors fitted as standard.
Remote drop-off using the unique DropTraX: no explosive bolts or moving parts.
